Successful migration of the SAP R/3 information system to SAP S/4HANA at PRECIOSA Ornela, a.s.

At PRECIOSA Ornela, a.s., we have successfully completed the migration and process changes of the SAP R/3 information system to the new SAP S/4HANA. This project was one of the biggest technological challenges we faced in the past fiscal period, and its successful completion with go-live on 1 April 2024 represents a significant step forward, especially for our customer.

The SAP S/4HANA IS not only brings users the latest technologies, but also increased efficiency and flexibility in many business processes. The new system offers improved performance, enhanced analytical capabilities and an attractive user interface.

Post-production support is currently underway, during which we are monitoring and tuning the system to fully meet customer needs and expectations. We would like to thank not only all the team members who participated in this project, but also the collaborators on the customer’s side.

In the autumn, we plan to start the migration of PRECIOSA Lustry, a.s., which will be another important step on the way to modernising our information systems.
